For Immediate Release
BEISEKER, ALBERTA – Today, The Grasslands of Beiseker announced that another new playground is on its way to Beiseker. A new playground has been in the works for some time and is set to break ground at the Beiseker Community School this spring, and now adding to that is a brand new playground inside The Grasslands, a new subdivision on the west side of the Village of Beiseker.
The upgrade and addition of playground equipment inside Beiseker is a huge boost to young families, with several options for outdoor recreation and play. At The Grasslands the playground will be located on the west side of the central park space and is bordered by the brand new recreation pathway that was just completed this week. “The recreation pathway underwent a design change after we took over as developer; we adjusted it to a circle track, which we felt made it much more functional for walking, jogging, bike riding, scootering, you name it.” Said Aaron Badger, Vice President of The Grasslands of Beiseker Development Corporation.
The new playground inside The Grasslands features two of the latest pieces of playground equipment offered, including a “Boogie Board” which provides a surf board style play; and the “ZipKrooz” which is the latest design style in a zip-line type experience. “We spent a long time carefully selecting components of this playground, ensuring we were incorporating the latest equipment into the design, and we can’t wait to see the residents of Beiseker enjoying the space” Said Badger.
The Grasslands offers purchasers large country lots, at small town prices. The Village of Beiseker is conveniently located 30 minutes from Stoney Trail and Country Hills Blvd. in Calgary. “We’re focused on providing a great community that is attractive to many demographics, including young families; with the playground, recreation path, and central park space there is easy access to outdoor living; and the immeasurable value of being walking distance to the local K-12 school” Badger stated.
In addition to the school, Beiseker has several local shops and restaurants, and all the major shops and services are conveniently located in nearby Airdrie.
Home construction in the community is underway with the first home going up at 201 Grasslands Way. “Getting the first home in the ground is the realization of all the preparation and construction work that has gone on to open up this new community, it’s an exciting day for us” remarked Badger.
The Grasslands phase one is a 71 lot single family residential subdivision, with 17 lots in the first release; it is conveniently located on the west side of Beiseker, Alberta. Perspective purchasers can view lot pricing, availability and builder options at: www.thegrasslands.ca
